What should we wear?

You don’t have to figure that out on your own. I’ll guide you through everything—from colors and coordination to what photographs beautifully and feels like you.

My goal is to create something timeless, so I’ll help you choose clothing that not only looks beautiful in your portraits, but also works perfectly with your home and where your artwork will be displayed.

What if my child doesn't cooperate?

That’s completely okay—and honestly, very normal.

With over 40 years of experience photographing children, I’ve learned how to gently guide them in a way that feels natural and fun. There’s no pressure for them to “perform.”

Some of the most beautiful moments come when children are simply being themselves—and I know how to capture that.
And truly, in the rare case that it just isn’t their day, we simply reschedule. In all my years, that’s only happened a handful of times—but if it does, there’s no charge. I want these portraits to feel right, and I want them to be something you absolutely love.

I'm not sure what to do in front of the camera...will you help?

Absolutely.

You’ll never have to wonder what to do. I’ll guide you through the entire session in a relaxed, natural way so nothing feels forced or uncomfortable.

My job is to make this feel easy for you.

Where does the session take place?

Every session is thoughtfully designed based on what we’re creating together.

Whether your portraits are more classic and created in the studio, or something more relaxed at a location we choose together—or even a place that’s meaningful to you—we’ll plan it in a way that feels just right.

For outdoor portraits, sessions are scheduled during the hours just before sunset, when the light is soft, warm, and most flattering.

You don’t have to worry about any of the details—we’ll plan everything together so your session feels natural, comfortable, and beautifully aligned with your vision

How much should I expect to invest?

Most Studio C clients invest between $1,500 and $5,000 in their finished portrait artwork.

Wall portraits begin at $699.

During your portrait reveal, I’ll help you choose exactly what feels right for you and your home—there’s no pressure, just guidance.

Do you offer digital files?

My focus is on creating finished artwork for your home—portraits that you can see, feel, and enjoy every day.

Your portrait collection is thoughtfully designed to include everything you need for your home and for sharing with family, so you don’t have to worry about what to print or how to display it.

For those who would like a digital keepsake, select collections may include or offer keepsake files for an additional investment. These are designed as a way to have your images on hand and to share, while your finished artwork remains the heart of what we create together.

How long does the process take?

From your session to your finished artwork, the process is designed to feel smooth and enjoyable.

You’ll return about a week after your session to view your portraits, and your finished artwork is typically ready within approximately 10 to 14 days after your order is placed.
